For the first time in its history, Cheyenne Frontier Days will feature ten consecutive rodeo performances running the full ten days from July 17 to 26.

Free Events and Daily Activities

Not everything at Cheyenne Frontier Days costs money. The free pancake breakfast is held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 to 9am at Depot Plaza in downtown Cheyenne. Volunteers serve more than 100,000 flapjacks along with coffee, milk, butter, and syrup. It is one of the most beloved traditions of the entire ten-day celebration and a true taste of Cheyenne community spirit.

Admission to the grounds is free on Opening Day July 17 from 10:30am to noon, and on Cheyenne Day July 22 for Laramie County residents. A $5 daily gate fee applies on all other days. A $25 season pass provides unlimited access throughout the full event.

The Grand Parade runs at 9am on both Saturdays and on Tuesday and Thursday. The route starts at the Capitol at East 24th Street and winds through downtown Cheyenne.

Getting Around Cheyenne During Frontier Days

On-site parking is available at Frontier Park. A Park-n-Ride option is available off I-25 and is recommended for evening concert nights when traffic picks up significantly. Tour buses are also available to drop guests at public transportation stations. Re-entry into Frontier Park is not permitted once you leave. The ticket office is cashless. Large bags, outside food and drink, and cans are not permitted inside the venue.
